Saturday night we had an absolutely delicious dinner at Nana Judy's house in Steptoe. Bryce was so excited to see Nana, that pretty much before the rest of us were unbuckled, he'd scooted out of the car to squeeze Nana in a bear hug. Then Papa Ron and Nana showed the boys the swings, the castle, the sand box, the pool, the toy car collection, and presents!
Bryce and Deacon also loved playing with their baby cousin, Kade, and getting him to smile and laugh (a very smiley bunch of boys all around).
And finally (joy of joys) Papa Ron took them on tractor rides across the yard. Bryce turned the wheel left and right, and back and forth, and this way and that way and if left to his own devices very nearly would have taken out a tree. Deacon's approach was, of course, very intense, and if left to his own devices very nearly would have taken out a tree too.

My dad (our Papa) always gives the kids rides on the riding lawn mower and they LOVE it! Looks like you guys had a fun time.
