Uncle Alex's Guitar
During our visit with Grandpa Dan, he gifted us my brother's kiddie guitar. Though it's missing strings and a peg-thingy has been snapped off, it instantly became quite the hit. Before we'd even reached home I began divvying up five-minute jam sessions between the two up-and-coming little Claptons in the backseat. Deacon--who we all know can entertain himself for hours if he's well-fed, well-watered and has managed to shed a little clothing--carried the guitar out to the sofa to sing and strum away the afternoon. He even called me in to accompany him with my beautiful voice (okay he didn't use that adjective, but it was in his eyes). I think we settled on me singing his current fav, "Here Comes a Bluebird".
