A-Maze-ing!

We had a great time at both farms, and though, they really shouldn't charge adults to chaperone their kids in the hay maze . . . but we're glad we got snookered! Bryce beat out all three other boys by reaching the tractor first. Granddaddy chased Bryce--to his giggling delight--all through the maze. All four boys loved the hay-pyramid, but Bryce was only one to impersonate a dinosaur at the top--and none of the other kids (strangers included) gave him a second look--must not be too scary looking! Deacon loved being chased too, but the slides were his favorite. There was a slide to reward you for getting through each maze, but once he found each one he'd then set up shop until a would-be slider came.
Mount Spokane in the background of our group shot--we had a great day, pumpkin doughnuts and all!

  2. Harvest House had the pony rides, draft horses, maze, jumping castles (lots of them), giant caterpillar, and tons of food booths, the maze, and some pre-picked pumpkins. Siemer's Farm had the log cabin, and field upon field of pumpkins! Siemers was calmer . . . and eased us in to the craziness of Harvest House!
