Pumpkin Carving

 

When we finally carved our pumpkins we decided to try those cut outs that come with the teeny carving tools. The very intricate "howling wolf scaring the screaming ghost" that Phil did, and the cute "owl perched on a branch" that I did, are now twisted and shrived beyond recognition. You can see Bryce's jack'o'lantern--which he did actually carve out (mostly) himself; his smiling pumpkin just looks like it's a very old man from the hills.

We did caramel corn for Phil, moose munch for the boys and me. (And I'd just used up my store of pumpkin, or else we'd have had more of Mrs. White's pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.)

What's not to love about fall!
