Pizza-Stone

 

Did you expect a pizza? Sage advice advised to first bake something really fatty, which translated into a big cookie (a McMurray favorite). Our Coeur d'Alene cousins were on hand to feast with us--Roman was glued to the oven during the baking. Here he is patiently holding his milk cup.

That night we made our first pizza-stone pizza. Delicious! Eventually, we want to try out a few crust recipes, but since we've been rather pleased Nancy Wilson's Miracle Pizza Crust from Hot Providence, we'll probably just try out toppings. Now we're ready for our weekly Friday Homemade Pizza Night tradition!
