Happy Birthday Kyle!

This morning Kyle just wouldn't wake up. And everybody else was wide awake (some people were rather excited to eat chocolate donuts), and wanting Kyle to begin the birthday reveling.
His floor was carpeted with balloons, and he woke up thrilled.  But they were almost too thrilling, and he the draw of waiting presents really had to pressed on him.
He got a shiny red Huffy with training wheels and as soon as he saw it, just had to have a quick ride around inside.  Then came a hammer, a shape game, a Superman waterbottle from Deacon, a trainset, M&Ms, a watering can, and wonder of wonders, the twin tape measures.  He squealed! And the boys spent a busy morning measuring and playing a game of Kyle's invention: tape measure sword fighting.

Kyle is such a sweet boy.  Gentle and sweet.  Attentive and aware.  He always tries to fix things if something spills, or needs to be put back.  He loves to make Sean smile and lets the baby crawl over him.  He brave and tough and loves to immitate his older brothers.  He loves his grandparents and talks about all of them often.  He gets so excited to see Daddy, and races to the door when he hears that diesel sound coming up the driveway. He loves soda, and ice cream, and cookies, and eating his pizza up-side-down.  He loves orange juice, and popsicles in the bathtub.  He loves wearing shoes, and playing with toothbrushes.  He likes tee-shirts with animals on them, and watching animals. He hates dogs, though, and hates it when his older brothers aren't home to play.  He loves to talk, and state the obvious. He is a delight, and we love him more and more everyday.  What a blessing he is to our little family.  And now he's 4!
