Worn Out Before Oma's Birthday

During his afternoon rest on Monday, Bryce was loaded up with a stock of books to peruse. You see, I fully expected him to stay awake, since our whole nap schedule was purposely pushed up. (The nap schedule was pushed up in the hopes that we'd have a happy car full for our drive to CdA for Oma's 77th birthday dinner.) So there Bryce was with a stockpile of books, and what had been included? One of his brother's toddler "What color is it?" sort of books--boring to no end, enough in fact, to put one to sleep. What the picture isn't capturing is the fact the book is resting on his head, and the fan is actually whipping pages against his face. When I went in to move the book, Bryce woke up and the whole idea of resting was put to rest.
