At the eleventh hour Bryce was bumped into MWF Pre-K, and though he had been excited about his friends in the TR class, he quickly got excited about seeing his MWF friends--and I love seeing him wear his tie (which he'll wear once a week for dress Fridays)!
En route to Logos, Bryce requested that after school we treat him to a $20 soda . . .
First, is Bryce set to go out the door, wearing his dress uniform and school back pack (that Nana Judy had monogrammed with his initials). Then sitting at his seat; which was such a captivating experience that he had to be asked twice by his teacher to go with her to hang up his back pack--on a hook with his name on it. Then, he got to pick the Bryce-apple from the apple tree and put it in the who's here today basket. He gave Mom a very low key under the chin wave goodbye (Dad got a high five). For the first little while he's sitting next to his friend, Annabelle--so hopefully he'll learn the joy of coloring (I hear she's dedicated).
Deacon was so thrilled to see Bryce. Here's Bryce with his teacher, Mrs. Rust. Then enjoying his special lunch--chicken nuggets and cheeseburger, as well as that $20 soda. We asked him what he did first, what he played on during recess . . . and he pretty much had nothing to contribute (it's hard to compete with a soda); however, when asked if he talked with his seat neighbor, Annabelle, Bryce's face lit up as he said with hand gestures, "I practiced doing this [shooshing] a lot!" (poor Annabelle, the sweet little lady probably said, "Hi Bryce! Good morning!" and got shooshed!)
Yay Logos School!

Sweet, sweet pictures! And judging by Bryce's smile, that $20 soda was worth every penny!
