Shorts!

 

What a beautiful day. The windows are open wide (dust is welcome today). Picnic at the park. Baskin Robbins cones. And . . . Bryce's favorite: shorts! Spring is welcome around here (but Summer wouldn't be missed one teeny bit).
Today, I had to keep myself from turning into Crossroads Nursery (again), and forced myself to drive past Stookey's display over at Eastside (again). My postage stamp attempt at a garden isn't utterly failing, most all my perrenials held true to their name (but if you never saw my Grandma Jeanne's garden you won't understand why having a postage stamp garden hardly seems like it deserves to referred to as a garden). Last year Phil tried his hand at a vegetable garden with a full array of goodness. This year I think we're going for just corn (our one disaster from last year--who can't grow corn?)
