Saturday we took super sun shiny day walk at the UI Aboretum. I love it there! It's the one time I'll admit to pretending I own Pemberly and that I'm touring my grounds. We collected sticks (which I think are still in the back of the car), pinecones, leaves, and some us tried to collect rocks and bugs. Bryce's kindergarten class had gone there earlier in October, and that day was perfect weather and better than a playground so Deacon needed to run through the trees too.
I was actually so full of anticipation for them, that I completely forgot about feeding any of us, so we went to A&W afterwards and the boys were amazed--deeming it even better than McDonalds (high praise indeed).
