Thanksgiving at Nana's

We had a great Thanksgiving at Nana Judy's house. Perfect meal, perfect company, and so relaxing . . . I brought green bean casserole (aren't I gourmet?) and a vastly undercooked deep dish pumpkin pie (note to self, do not use a deep dish pie pan if you do not intend to adjust the cooking time), luckily we also brought cider and ice cream, so hopefully no one recalls the pie-mush.

Deacon will have many, many memories of celebrating his birthday on Thanksgiving, and what a blessing to be reminded of how thankful we are for our two little people. Here's one of the family shots from the weekend--and you'd think that with it being only four of us we'd manage to all look at the camera at once! Maybe next time.
