Papa Ron rang in his 62nd birthday a day early (he was so nice to celebrate on Epiphany; which was the day I'd chosen to fix our Christmas ham--thanks Wayne!). The boys had loads of fun helping Papa open his presents . . . Bryce literally would completely open a gift and then announce, "You got a nice shirt! Look!" and then throw it on the floor.
Here is Papa modeling the headlamp that Phil picked out. A hit! After opening most of Papa's gifts, Bryce tore apart a bow and began working at tying Papa's leg . . . and Deacon was thrilled over the head lamp batteries (why do we buy him toys?). A very fun evening with Papa and Nana . . . if only they lived closer!
